چکیده

The effect of temperature on absorption spectra of Rhodamine 6G at concentrations of 10 and 10 M in water:ethanol solutions of various ethanol content was studied. The dimeric molecular fraction of Rhodamine 6G (10 M) was found as a function of temperature and ethanol content in the aqueous solution. It was shown that the absorption spectrum of Rhodamine 6G dimers (10 M) is dependent on temperature and ethanol content in the aqueous solution. Based on the relationship between Jand H-bands in the absorption spectrum of Rhodamine 6G dimers, both the angle between planes of associated Rhodamine 6G dye molecules and the free enthalpy of association were calculated. The structure of Rhodamine 6G dimers depends essentially on the ethanol content and aqueous ethanol solution temperature while experiencing the most temperature changes at an ethanol concentration of 25%.

Fluorescence quantum yields and their relation to lifetimes of rhodamine 6G and fluorescein in nine solvents: improved absolute standards for quantum yields.

Absolute fluorescence quantum yields are reported for the rhodamine 6G cation and the fluorescein dianion dyes in nine solvents. This information is combined with previously reported fluorescence lifetimes to deduce radiative and nonradiative decay rates. Along the alcohol series from methanol to octanol, rhodamine 6G displays an increasing radiative rate, in parallel with the square of the ref...

Effects of Foliar and Root Applications of Hydro-Alcoholic Solutions on Physiological and Biochemical Attributes and Fruit Yield and Weight of Strawberry

Abstract An investigation was undertaken to ascertain the influence of hydro-alcoholic solutions on plant growth as well as quality attributes of strawberry fruits. The mother plants of strawberry (Fragaria ananasa cv. Gaviota) were subjected to various aqueous solutions of ethanol (15, 30%), methanol (15, 30%) and the mixture of ethanol + methanol (15 or 30%) plus the control (water only) as...

Aggregate formation of zein and its structural inversion in aqueous ethanol

Zein is a prolamine of maize. Conventionally, 70–90% aqueous ethanol is used to dissolve zein. When the hydrodynamic radii of zein molecules in aqueous ethanol were monitored with a dynamic light scattering instrument, it was found that zein aggregates in the solvent and the degree of aggregation depends on the composition of the solvent mixture. As the ethanol content of solvent increased from...
